performance of agribusinesses in Kaduna State, Nigeria, while assessing the moderating
influence of community ties on these relationships. A quantitative research designed was
adopted, and data were collected through a survey of 334 agribusiness owners and
smallholder farmers drawn from Giwa, Zaria, and Sabon Gari Local Government Area. The
study employed Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze
the hypothesized relationships among variables. The findings indicate that both market
access and technological adoption have significant positive effects on agribusiness
performance. The study concludes that while market access and innovation are vital for
agribusiness success, strong community network further strengthen market-related outcomes.
It recommends improving rural infrastructure, promoting inclusive technology adaptation,
and strengthening farmer’s cooperatives to support sustainable agribusiness development.
