About the Journal

In preparing manuscripts for publication in Journal of Educational Research and Development, authors should adhere strictly to the following guidelines.

Author’s name, address and email should be typed on a separate sheet of paper detachable from the manuscript.

For multiple authorship, the email and phone number of corresponding author should be included.

Only the title of the manuscript should be on the blind cover page.

All manuscripts should be typed double-spaced and accompanied by an abstract containing a maximum of 250 words, written in past tense and without citing any literature.

After abstract, please supply not more than 5 keywords.

Manuscript should not be more than 14 pages A4 including references. Topic and sub-topics must be 14 points font size while the other content should be 12 points font size, double-spaced, and Time New Roman font type.

The British English Language should be adopted.

Authors are advised not to use first person pronouns (I, my, we, our).

Quoted passages of more than three typed lines should be extracted, indented 5 spaces and typed single-spaced. Shorter quotations should be enclosed in single inverted commas.

Tables and figures should be kept to the barest minimum.

Foot notes are not permitted.

References should be listed in alphabetical order.

All cited authors must appear on the reference list and all authors on reference list must appear in the text.

Authors should use the Fapa format of referencing:

Manuscripts submitted must be original.
Manuscripts submitted for peer review should not be submitted elsewhere for concurrent consideration.
All manuscripts should be submitted with assessment fee of N6,000.00

Publication of an article attracts the sum of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only payable to the Journal account. To be paid to
