Etude contrastive de la divergence linguistique de nominaux verbaux en français et en Yoruba

Abstract

La morphologie s’intéresse à la structure interne des mots. Un mot est soit un segment significatif
minimal qui n’est ni décomposable en unités significatives plus petites ni attaché à ce qui le
précède ou le suit immédiatement soit un segment significatif analysable comme une combinaison
d’unités significatives plus petites mais qui manifeste à la fois un fort degré de cohésion interne et
une relative autonomie par rapport à son environnement. Au niveau de la formation, nous
constatons que la construction des noms à partir du radical a été l’un des moyens de formation
pertinents à la morphologie en ce qui concerne l’enrichissement des langues. Le fait que la
morphologie pose des problèmes de complexité nous invite à considérer la divergence entre la
langue française et la langue yoruba en ce qui concerne la formation des nominaux verbaux.

Morphology in linguistics is concerned with the internal structure of words. A word is either a
minimal significant segment which is neither decomposable into smaller significant units nor
attached to what immediately precedes or follows it, or a significant segment which can be
analysed as a combination of smaller significant units but which manifests both a high degree of
internal cohesion and relative autonomy from its environment. At the level of formation, we find
out that the construction of nouns from the base word has been one of the means of formation
germane to morphology regarding to enrichment of languages. The fact that the linguistic
morphology poses its problems of complexity makes us consider the situations of divergence
between the French and Yoruba languages, regarding the formation of verbal nominals.
